Gregory E. Sherman, GG, FGA, DGA, ISA-CAPP, Director and founder, with over 20 years of jewelry industry experience, is one of the country’s leading jewelry appraisers and gemologists. He was the marketing and education director six years at EGL USA, one of the largest gemological laboratories in the world and has taught gemology at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. He is a Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America, earned the prestigious Diploma in Gemmology from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, and is also an elected fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain. He is a Certified Appraiser of Personal Property in Gems and Jewelry from the international Society of Appraisers, and holds the Master Gemologist Appraiser Diploma from the American Society of Appraisers. He is a noted industry speaker, and has conducted lectures for jewelry groups and gemological organizations around the world. He is co-author of the booklet “Changing the Color of Diamonds: The High Pressure High Temperature Process Explained”. He consulted on, and appeared in the History Channel's program Diamond Mines, which aired in 2002-2003.
